Honoring Mother Earth Volunteer Park Clean-up and Celebration

Chicken Ranch Rancheria of Me-Wuk Indians and Tuolumne Band of Me-Wuk Indians are collaborating for the second year to host an Honoring Mother Earth two-day event. The first day is a volunteer service day on Friday 4/19 from 3-6pm at Woods Creek Rotary Park in Sonora. The second day is the celebration on 4/20 from 11am-4:00pm at Westside Pavilion in Tuolumne. The celebration will begin with an Opening Ceremony followed by Traditional Songs, Dance & Drumming. 15+ Community Booths, Indian Market, Unique Gifts & Crafts, and Indian Tacos. The intention behind this event is to inspire all of Tuolumne County to think 7-generations ahead in taking care of each other and our planet.
